The Newfoundland Library Association (renamed the Newfoundland and Labrador Library Association in 1997) was
established in 1969 by a group of 23 dedicated librarians.
Historical records of the association are available in the Centre for Newfoundland Studies Archives, and a
Finding Aid is available to identify what is contained therein.
